This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our shipping automation platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Service.

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you: (i) use the Shipwix platform as a customer; (ii) visit our website; (iii) interact with our advertisements; (iv) contact us via our website, social media, or email; or (v) interact with third-party services that link to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications, even if they are accessible through our Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, use our Service, contact customer support, or communicate with us. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, payment information (credit card or bank account details), company name, tax identification number, and any other information you choose to provide.
Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third parties, such as when you connect your account with third-party e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.), marketplace integrations, or when we use service providers to verify or supplement the information you provide (such as address validation services). We may combine this information with other information we collect about you.
Automatically Collected Information
When you access or use our Service, we automatically collect certain information about you and your device, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring website addresses, and other usage information. We collect this information through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. For more information about our use of cookies, please see the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section below.
Carrier and Shipping Information
When you use our Service to purchase shipping labels or manage shipments, we collect information about your shipments, including sender and recipient names and addresses, package dimensions and weight, tracking numbers, carrier selection, shipping costs, and delivery status. We may also receive tracking data from carriers as they scan your packages.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: We use your information to operate the Shipwix platform, process your transactions, purchase shipping labels on your behalf, provide customer support, communicate with you about your account and shipments, and fulfill our contractual obligations to you.
To Improve Our Service: We use your information to understand how users interact with our Service, analyze usage patterns, identify and fix technical issues, develop new features and functionality, and improve the overall quality and user experience of the Service.
To Communicate With You: We may use your information to send you service-related communications, respond to your inquiries, provide customer support, send administrative messages, and notify you of updates to our Service or policies. With your consent, we may also send you marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional materials. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
For Business Operations: We use your information to process payments and billing, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud and unauthorized activity, monitor and ensure the security of our Service, comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and property.
For Analytics and Advertising: We may use your information, including with the help of analytics and advertising partners, to understand user behavior, measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, deliver targeted advertisements, and improve our marketing efforts. We do not use information sourced from connected marketplaces, including Amazon Information (as defined below), for advertising, marketing, or targeted advertisements, and we do not share such information with advertising partners.
Aggregated and De-Identified Data: We may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data from the information we collect. This data does not identify you personally and may include statistics such as popular shipping destinations, peak shipping times, or average package weights. We may use and share this aggregated data for any purpose, including business analytics, research, and marketing.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
With Shipping Carriers: When you purchase shipping labels through our Service, we share relevant information with the selected carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) to facilitate the shipment. This includes sender and recipient information, package details, and any required customs documentation. Each carrier has its own privacy policy governing how they use your information. Carriers may also provide us with tracking data about your shipments, which we use to update you on delivery status.
With Service Providers: We share your information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, fraud detection, data analytics, email delivery, hosting services, customer support, marketing, and advertising. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.
With E-Commerce Platform and Marketplace Integrations: If you connect third-party platforms (such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, eBay, Amazon) to your Shipwix account, we will share information necessary to provide the integrated functionality, such as order information and shipping details. Your use of these third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
When you connect a marketplace or e-commerce platform to Shipwix, we collect, process, and store data from that platform including but not limited to order information, customer names and addresses, product details, order status, and transaction data. This data is used solely to provide shipping services through our platform. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect this data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. We retain this data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When you disconnect a platform integration or close your account, we will delete or anonymize the associated data in accordance with our data retention policies and legal requirements, typically within 90 days unless required to retain it longer by law. We do not share marketplace or platform data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (such as with shipping carriers to fulfill orders) or as required by law.
Amazon Marketplace Data: If you connect an Amazon selling account (including through Amazon Seller Central or Amazon's Selling Partner APIs) to Shipwix, we receive information from Amazon ("Amazon Information"), which may include order information, buyer names and shipping addresses, order items, order status, and related transaction data. We process Amazon Information solely to provide and perform shipping and order-fulfillment services on your behalf — such as generating shipping labels, transmitting the details required to ship an order to your selected carrier, and updating order and tracking status — and for no other purpose. We never use Amazon Information for advertising, marketing, or targeted advertisements; we never sell it; and we never share it with advertising partners or use it to build, enrich, or augment marketing profiles. Notwithstanding the general retention period described above, we retain Amazon Information that constitutes personally identifiable information (PII) only as long as necessary to fulfill the relevant order and, in any case, delete it within 30 days of order fulfillment, unless we are required to retain it longer to comply with legal, tax, regulatory, or fraud-prevention obligations — in which case we securely archive only the data required for that purpose and restrict access to it. When you disconnect your Amazon integration or close your account, we delete or anonymize associated Amazon Information in accordance with these timelines. Amazon Information is protected with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security assessments, and is disclosed to third parties only as necessary to fulfill the order (for example, to the shipping carrier you select) or as required by law.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to meet national security or law enforcement requirements; to protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property, or safety of our users or others; or to investigate or prevent fraud, security issues, or illegal activity.
Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you give us your explicit consent to do so.
Marketing Purposes: We may use your company name and logo in our marketing materials, case studies, and customer lists to identify you as a Shipwix customer. This applies only to you as our business customer; we do not use marketplace buyer data, including Amazon Information, for any marketing purpose. If you do not wish for us to use your information in this way, please contact us at support@shipwix.com.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our Service and to provide certain features. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us improve our Service, understand user preferences, and deliver relevant content and advertisements.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and choose to refuse or delete cookies. However, if you disable cookies, some features of our Service may not function properly. For more information about the cookies we use and how to manage them, you can contact us at support@shipwix.com.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes. When you close your account, we may continue to retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention, analytics, and record-keeping. We may also retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely.
Data received from connected marketplaces is retained as described in the "How We Share Your Information" section above. In particular, Amazon Information that constitutes personally identifiable information is deleted within 30 days of order fulfillment unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal, tax, regulatory, or fraud-prevention obligations.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption, secure servers, access controls, and regular security assessments.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom (UK), we will ensure that any transfer of your personal information to countries outside these regions is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Access: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of that information.
Right to Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information we hold about you.
Right to Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as when we need to retain information to comply with legal obligations).

These rights include the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion of personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information.
